Young Engineers

Last Friday,  the University of Navarra organized their annual Engineering Day in Santa Monica School and some students of Year 12 attended .The objective of this event was to inform to the prospect engineering students of everything they needed to know before choosing this option; for example, the different types of engineering and possible jobs… For this, not only did they make a presentation, but also gave the students a challenge: to build their own car. After detailing every step of its construction, the future engineers ended up with a solar car that, if made correctly, would run by only shining some light on it. It was a challenge for our students but eventually got the car to move.

Students from various English and Spanish schools went, and although there was a lot of rivalry, they all had a wonderful time.
