​Year 13 students at Bellver International College talk about the Paralympic Games

​On Wednesday, the Year 13 students at Bellver International College presented their assembly on the Paralympics to the rest of the secondary department. They chose four athletes, 2 women and 2 men, and told their extraordinary stories about becoming the very best in their respective countries. They spoke of overcoming adversity, even when all odds seem to be against you. It was inspirational and touching to hear these positive stories as they are rarely the focus of media attention. With this assembly, Year 13 sought to inspire the audience that anything is possible if you set your mind to it and work very hard to achieve it.
