Bellver scientists visit the Costitx observatory

As part of their science studies, a group of students from Bellver International College visited the world renowned observatory in Costitx.
On arrival the student received a talk explaining the origins of life on Earth and relating that to the different bodies found in the universe.
They had an opportunity to examine meteorites, some of which had their origins on the Moon and on Mars.
As darkness fell the student has an opportunity to view the planets Venus and Jupiter through reflecting telescopes.
Inside the planetarium the students were treated to a spectacular explanation of the night sky.
