28 pupils from Years 8 and 9 spent Friday morning in S`Albufera. Guided by Gaspar and Maria (staff from the park), they studied the topography, flora and fauna of the area. It proved to be an extremely exciting day. The children in particular loved the bird hides where they were able watch the varied and colourful bird life (the highlight being the Osprey catching a fish and the flamingos which had recently come to visit our shores). The park is a wonderful, free treat for anyone on the island and well worth a visit!
