​Bellver dental week

The children from Reception class, Year 1 and Year 2 took part in Dental Week this week.
They observed several experiments including soaking an egg in vinegar and drilling holes in an apple to see the effects certain products may have on their teeth. They were also shown how to clean the teeth properly and were given the opportunity to inspect each other's mouths. At the start of the week, the children took home a lactose pill to chew to see if their teeth changed colour. If they turned blue, it meant that they needed to clean more carefully. If it was pink then they were doing a good job. The children all enjoyed learning how to have healthy clean teeth!
