During May, Bellver College hosted several members of the Paralympics GB Swimming team for their GCSE and A-Level examinations. These swimmers achieved four gold medals, three silvers and four bronze medals at London 2012. We are very proud in their achievement and will continue to support them wherever we can. Congratulations to you all.

The British Paralympic Swimming Team have again chosen Bellver College to host their GCSE and A Level exams whilst they are at a training camp in Mallorca. This year we welcome Ellie Simmonds, Oliver Hynd, Hannah Russell, Amy Marren, Jack Bridge and Jessica Applegate. We wish them all the best and are very happy to support them at this important time.
Last week students in year 6 entered a poster competition on the 2012 Olympic Games in London, organised by the British Embassy in Madrid. This competition was open to all British schools in Spain and I am very pleased to announce that Carlos Garcia de Cecilio was awarded third prize. He will be receiving a letter from the ambassador shortly as well as earning the school €300. My congratulations to Carlos and my thanks to Ms Salma Aslam for her efforts.
